You may not feel that you have not done anything to hurt your computer, and in most instances this is true. But there are a few cases where it could be your fault, and that there was possibly something you may have done to cause your computer to go wacky. Let us take a look at some of those things.

Oddly enough, computers are very conservative. They just do not like change too much. The most dependable computer system you will ever witness is one that has only a couple of programs such as Microsoft Word or Excel installed on it. This type of PC will run much better than any other you will come across. It is when you start installing various programs on the computer that you begin to have problems. Of course, this is the reason for computers in the first place, but you have to realize the risk involved with each new piece of software.

With the Nintendo Wii becoming so popular so quickly, we seem to be getting quite a few emails from people wondering if there is a way to copy Wii games on their computer. I thought it would be a good idea to go over how you can make exact backup copies of Wii games using the burner on your computer.

Almost everyone with a computer has used their burner their burner before. “Ripping” music CDs is extremely common – there’s a good chance you have done this before. However, you can’t use the same software that you use to burn a music cd to make a copy of a video game.

Why is that?

Tired of the high price and long lines at theaters? Well now to can sit at home and watch movies on your computer. But “which is best?” This has been the ongoing debate to online lookers and theater junkies for years ..let’s get some help!

We’ve found consumers have been slow to embrace legal digital downloads, deterred by a host of obstacles including long download times, prohibitively high pricing (particularly for digital retail) and the limited choice of titles. However this has changed alot infact titles keep up with the box office very well.

These issues are being resolved, broadband speeds are increasing, pricing is coming down and Studios are becoming more willing to license their content. The transactional online movie market is beginning to pick up – Screen Digest forecasts 1.3m digital movies will have been rented or bought in 2008 alone.

Custom built PCs – what’s the point? One problem with store-bought, off-the-shelf computers is they are well-rounded, average machines built for general use. That may not seem like a problem, and for people just needing a small home office, it isn’t. But for people using their computers for very specific purposes, store-bought general use computers are often just not good enough.

The ability to specify your requirements, and have someone tailor the hardware immediately gives you the advantage over the standard package that everyone else has. By going down the custom route you should also have the ability to “future proof” your computer which means you have it for a lot longer. Lets look at some reasons why you may need a custom computer:

After going through technical problems, you probably think that they lied to you when they said told you that computers were easy to use. Let us face it, a computer is a pretty complex device. Anything can and does go wrong from time to time. The tech-support people know this, and they brace themselves for anything. Callers range from the timid beginner who still has the computer in the box to the hacker whose computer has been utterly disassembled and desoldered. You can make the job of a tech-support person so much easier by doing a little research before you call. Let us examine how.

Many courses in computer training in the UK have just about priced themselves out of the market. People who would like to up their skills get demoralised because everything they want to learn is too expensive.

Modern training methods now enable students to learn on a different type of course, that costs significantly less than traditional courses. The low overhead structure of these courses means anyone can afford them.

You can divide the training into two categories:

* A range of training courses designed to get you a specific job in the IT industry.

* Courses that give you the knowledge to get to grips with specific software packages.
