It used to be that you had to go to the video store to get a movie. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.

A Good Man in Africa: Crass, slapdash filming of William Boyd’s novel in reference to a weak-willed and all-too-often intolerable British ambassador in a new African country; the scenario achieves little more than to portray blacks as stupid, incredible stereotypes. Connery is sorely trashed in the role of an understanding physician. Boyd inscribed and additionally co-produced with Beresford. Cast includes Colin Friels, Joanne Whalley-Kilmer, Sean Connery, John Lithgow, Louis Gossett, and Jackie Mofokeng. (93 minutes, 1994)

Reno Nine-One-One: If you’ve heard of Comedy then Medial’s inept team of cops and are interested to see if they may be the subject for your approaching Master’s or Ph.D. This off-the-cuff characteristic without the cable advertisements that keep their tads aptly bite-dimensioned can serve as an intro. The Reno sheriff s branch, in Miami for a conference, is hailed upon to guard the city while the common cops are isolated among a bioterrorism assault. Slapdash film by no means noticed a fat wisecrack or masturbation antic it didn’t like, albeit cameos by Paul Rudd and particularly Dwayne The Stone Johnson are funnier than most of the sleep. Cast includes Carlos Alazraqui, Mary Birdsong, Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Niecy Nash, and Cedric Yarbrough. (84 minutes, 2007)

The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come: Bland clan-type film of boy who battled for the North throughout Civil Battle and his return to rural life. This movie is based on the 1903 novel by John William Fox. Cast includes McLaglen, Jimmie Rodgers, Luana Patten, Frost Wills, George Kennedy, and Neil Hamilton. (108 minutes, 1961)

The Light That Failed: This is a fine cast of a Kipling melodrama of London actor Colman going blind, decided to finish photograph of Lupino, whose florid Cockney behavior robs film. Cast includes Ronald Colman, Walter Huston, Ida Lupino, Dudley Digges, Muriel Angelus, Fay Helm, and Francis McDonald. (97 minutes, 1939)

Single White Female: Alison Jones has just dumped he fianc’, and now needs a roommate to keep her apartment. She puts out a classified ad, and eventually chooses Hedra Carlson. Will Hedra be a good choice? Or has Alison made a huge mistake.

The Pink Panther: Steve Martin tries to duplicate the magic that Peter Sellers put into the part of Inspector Jacques Clouseau. This bumbling French detective seems to make a mess out of any situation he finds himself in. In spite of this he always ends up putting the criminals behind bars.

The Juror: Gloomy and, it turns out, psychopathic underworld compute Baldwin victimizes an unsuspecting Moore so that she can teeter associate jurors into acquitting a Mafia manager. Comparisons to Trial By Jury are apt, although this one goes on much longer and gets more absurd by the second. Cast includes Demi Moore, Alec Baldwin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Heche, James Gandolfini, and Lindsay Crouse. (116 minutes, 1996)

Mr. Quilp: Amusing lyrical rendition of Dickens’ The Old Interest Shop with melodies by Newley and lyrical score by Elmer Bernstein. Lighthearted till last reel while it goes earnest in the Dickens vein. Cast includes Anthony Newley, David Hemmings, David Warner, Michael Hordern, Jill Bennett, and Sarah Jane Vadey. (118minutes, 1975)

The Hurricane: The true story of Rubin ‘Hurricane’ Carter, a middleweight title contender, who had his dreams of a boxing title abruptly ended when he was falsely arrested and convicted of a triple homicide. He eventually gives up all hope when imprisoned until a young Blackman, and his adopted Canadian parents take up his lost cause. They are up against staunch racism at every turn, but eventually Hurricane is set free.
