The Lexmark z 51 – Lexmark z 51 toner manufactured by Lexmark, is an inkjet color printer. The inkjet type of printer works by spraying numerous droplets of ink through a nozzle. Being relatively cheap and easy to produce the inkjet type of printer is extremely common as well as the Lexmark Z 51 toner. Replacement units, and parts are usually easy to come buy.

North American based Lexmark is one of the world’s leading printing, and imaging developers. Main research and developments are located in Lexington, Kentucky, along with the company’s headquarters. One of the top brands, they are highly recommended by most. Also a very large company, Lexmark employs over 13000 people worldwide.

Lexmark markets its products around the globe to every major continent. Most consumers keep coming back to Lexmark for the reliability of their products. They also have quite a diverse product line beyond regular printers as well. Laser printers are also offered alongside inkjet models. Although based on different technology, they work just as well.

They also offer dot matrix printers, and scanners. For people without a lot of room they offer all in one printers. All in one printers are usually a printer, scanner, fax, and copier all in the same shell. It is extremely convenient having everything you need in one box.

With age however comes some sadness, older products are discontinued, and made obsolete, so finding a replacement can be tough at times. About 3 years ago the Z 51 was added to the obsolete list, and discontinued. It can still be found online at certain places. Technical support, is available on Lexmark’s main site, along with drivers for hardware.

If you already own a printer, then you’re probably looking for toner. Toner is the ink that’s stored in the little box you install into the printer. Some models of printers require two toner cartridges, 1 for black ink, and one for colored. However if you are still sitting on an old black and white printer you may want to consider upgrading.

Many options and venue’s are available for the purchase of toner and printers. The manufacturer’s website usually has a general listing of parts. Web based auction sites are always a good place to look. You can pretty much turn the corner on any street and find a retail store with a decent selection. Or if your feeling really lucky try a yard sale. You may also want to let your IT people know at work that if they go to upgrade to newer machines to save you an old one. Be sure to only use Lexmark Z 51 toner with this product.
