If you’re having problems with your computer slowing down or perhaps even crashing, the issue may not be something that is going wrong with the hardware. As a matter of fact, it is often the Windows registry that is at the root of many of these problems so this is the first place that you should begin looking. Here are a number of different issues that occur when the registry goes sour and what can be done in order to fix it.

The first thing that you will notice whenever you’re having problems with the Windows registry it is that it begins to slow down and continues to slow down even further. One of the reasons why this occurs is because the registry is constantly being looked at in order to determine what the computer needs to do next. If you have unnecessary code in the Windows registry, the registry will have to look through all of that code before it becomes aware of what needs done. This can slow down the response time considerably.

Another occurrence that commonly occurs is that we may have a problem with our computer freezing up on this or perhaps crashing and restarting altogether. This is a common occurrence whenever the Windows registry has become corrupted to the point where the computer is not able to look at it and determine what it is supposed to do. If your computer does not have a clear line of instructions to accomplish, crashing or freezing up maybe the response that happens.

Something else that may happen to your computer if you have problems in the Windows registry has been something that has been repaired in more recent versions of Windows. It was always referred to as the blue screen of death and whenever you see this error on your computer, there is no coming back from it without restarting. If you see the blue screen of death on your computer, you can guarantee that there are probably problems within the Windows registry.

Any one of these things is a serious problem and not only can it cost us time, it can often cost us money in the form of lost productivity. What is it that we can do in order to fix these problems and to get rid of them off of our computer once and for all? The solution is fairly simple, you need to download a registry cleaner off of the Internet and run it on your computer in order to clean the registry for good. We recommend that you use RegistryMechanic for this process.

The first step in the process is to download the program off of the Internet and to scan your registry in order to look for problems. This portion of the process is free and it only takes a short amount of time for the program to give you the results that you are looking for.

Once you have this list of problems, you can simply allow the registry cleaner to clean your computer automatically and get rid of them. It will then prompt you to restart your computer and you will notice a difference in how smoothly your computer is running. Continue to run the program in the background and your computer will run better for the long term.
