A touch screen laptop is your inner artist’s best friend since the childhood days of the etch-and-sketch or magnetic drawing board. If you have the inclination to watch your creation develop through the point of a pen or pencil, today’s touch screen laptop is both an effective work tool as well as an outlet for your creative expressions.

Many people already have laptops that don’t have such a sophisticated technology. Maybe we bought our computers a few years back and many of us don’t always reach for the top of the line nor did many of us even know such a feature existed.

Regardless of your specific situation, anyone who desires the touch screen laptop functionality now can have it for less than two hundred dollars by the way of the TabletLaptop by NAVIsis. It allows for the touch screen functionality as an add-on option.

The minimum PC requirements are easy enough that only the dinosaurs of computers won’t be able to meet. In fact, if you have a laptop any less than the minimum requirements, and you would like to upgrade, just go out and buy a new laptop. They aren’t even expensive these days. But back to the point, most Windows home operating systems with a Pentium 500MHz or equivalent will do. The input is the later version USB 1.1 so every machine with a USB will do and an optical disk drive for the CD.

One of the coolest features is the integration with Microsoft Office products. When in the Outlook application, it allows you to compose and send handwritten emails for a nice personal touch. Of course the standard touch screen features are included suc as using your fingers to resize and flip through pictures and media.

The only real downside is the physical limitation of the device and the laptop itself that keeps it from truly performing like a tablet laptop. While the company claims it is compact in design, most people would agree that laptops are not truely as portable and mobile as we would like them to be. Any additional add-on just creates more bulk no matter how compact the design is.

Also, true touch screen laptop models have swivel screens that can be folded flat against the backside while your ordinary laptop cannot. Being able to fold flat makes the writing and drawing much more sensible as opposed to a screen that is rather inflexible to the contours of your pen grip.
